- Seeker is a 49' Sloop rigged Hylas Sailing Yacht built in 2001. Fulfilling a dream,I purchased her in October of 2004 in Portsmouth,Rhode Island and sailed offshore that first year down to the Caribbean for the Winter-sailing to the British Virgin Islands,then "Down Island" to St. Maarten, St.Barths,Saba,St.Kitts,Nevis, and Antigua then back up to the BVI's via Barbuda and Anguila. In May of 2005 we sailed back to the USA East Coast to the Chesapeake Bay/Gibson Island,Maryland. The following November Seeker departed for the South Pacific-via the Caribbean,to the Panama Canal, through the Canal to the Galapagos, the Marquesas, Tuamoto Archipelago,throughout French Polynesia to the Cook Island of Suwarrow, then to Samoa and the Kingdom of Tonga , finally to New Zealand-arriving in November 2006. From May to November 2007 I sailed Seeker from New Zealand to Fiji, then west to Vanuatu and New Caledonia and then back south to New Zealand. Huge thanks to friends and Crew that have been on various segments of this wonderful journey so far!Hopefully others will find the time to come along-you are always welcome!
